China’s import and export value up 45.2% in Feb, including truck
Mar. 11, 2010 (China Knowledge) – China’s import and export value rose 45.2% year on year to US$181.43 billion in February, according to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs. The Truck’s import and export has also increased.
Last month, China exported US$94.52 billion worth of goods, up 45.7% year on year, while the import value increased 44.7% from a year ago to US$86.91 billion.
In the first two months of 2010, China’s foreign trade value amounted to US$386.4 billion, up 44.8% year on year. The value of exports and imports reached US$204.08 billion and US$182.32 billion, up 31.4% and 63.6% year on year, respectively.
The country recorded trade surplus of US$21.76 billion in the first two months, down 50.4% year on year.
Total bilateral trade value between the EU and China was US$66.53 billion during the period, up 34.5% from the same period of last year. The trade value between the U.S. and China was US$43.92 billion, up 25.1% year on year.
